Sara is a two-time World Champion wake surfer in the amateur and semi-pro division. She turned pro at the age of 16, placed 2nd at the World Championship in her first year as a pro, and has been a top-ranked rider in the world in the Women’s Pro Skim Division.  Currently, Sara is the reigning Canadian National Champion.  

Sara began competing as an amateur at 14, turned semi-pro (Outlaw) at 15, before becoming a professional rider. Sara has won numerous provincial, national, and international titles and was voted 'Female Up and Coming Athlete of the Year' by her peers in 2018.   Sara has spent the last 3 summers in Sylvan Lake as an instructor at Wakesurf Sylvan and at Off The Grid Wakesurf prior to that. Sara is sponsored by Kanuk Board Co. and is certified as an NCCP coach.

Sara has been a team rider for Kanuk Board Co. for 9 years and has her own Sara Tallon Carbon Pro board . 

Sara has won numerous national titles and is reigning the 2022 Pro Women's Skim National Champion. She has been a member of the Elite Canadian National Wake Team.
