Sara is a two-time World Champion wake surfer in the amateur and semi-pro division. She turned pro at the age of 16, placed 2nd at the World Championship in her first year as a pro, and has been top-ranked rider in the world in the Women’s Pro Skim Division. Currently, Sara is the reigning Canadian National Champion. Sara began competing as an amateur at 14, turned semi-pro (Outlaw) at 15, and then became a pro rider at 16. Sara has won numerous provincial, national, and international titles and was voted 'Female Up and Coming Athlete of the Year' by her peers in 2018. Sara spent last summer as an instructor at Off The Grid Wakesurf School teaching surfers in the Okanagan. Sara is a member of Wake Canada's Elite Senior Team and is sponsored by Kanuk Board Co. and Centurion Boats. Sara became certified as an NCCP coach through the WSWA last year.
Sara loves her Centurion Ri245 and has been a team rider since 2018.
Sara has won numerous national titles and has been a member of the Elite Canadian National Wake Team for the last four years.
Sara has been a team rider for Kanuk Board Co. for 7 years and has her own Sara Tallon Carbon Pro board .
